  • Premium subscription features for enhanced functionality

Our Services use artificial intelligence technology, including OpenAI's GPT-4, to analyze your food data and provide nutritional insights.

3. Eligibility and Account Requirements

3.1 Age Requirements

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use our Services
  • Users between 13-17 years old must have parental consent
  • In the EEA and UK, you must be at least 16 years old

5. Subscription Terms and Pricing

5.1 Subscription Plans

  • Annual Plan: $49.99 per year (best value)

Premium features include unlimited food scans, advanced AI analysis, personalized meal plans, and detailed nutritional insights.

5.2 Pricing and Payment Terms

  • All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) unless otherwise specified
  • Prices may vary by region and currency
  • Payment is due at the time of subscription activation
  • We accept payments through Stripe, Apple App Store, and Google Play Store
  • Promotional prices may be offered from time to time

5.3 Automatic Renewal

IMPORTANT: Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period as your original subscription
  • Your payment method will be charged 24 hours before the renewal date
  • You will receive a renewal confirmation email
  • Renewal prices may differ from your original subscription price
  • You can manage your subscription settings in your account or through your app store

5.4 Free Trial Period

  • New users may be eligible for a free trial period
  • Free trial duration varies by subscription plan and promotional offers
  • You must provide payment information to start a free trial
  • If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the subscription
  • Trial periods are limited to one per user

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

6.1 Cancellation Rights

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

  • For App Store subscriptions: Through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings
  • For Stripe subscriptions: Through your bitebit account settings or by contacting support
  • Cancellation timing: You must cancel at least 24 hours before your next billing cycle to avoid charges

6.2 Effect of Cancellation

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain access to premium features until the end of the paid period
  • Your account will revert to the free version after cancellation
  • No partial refunds will be provided for unused portions of your subscription

6.3 Refund Policy

General Refund Policy:

  • All sales are final and non-refundable except as required by law
  • Refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion
  • Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase
  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days

App Store Refunds:

  • For purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refund policies of those platforms apply
  • You must request refunds directly through Apple or Google
  • We cannot process refunds for app store purchases

Stripe Refunds:

  • For direct Stripe payments, we may issue refunds in cases of:
    • Technical errors preventing service access
    • Unauthorized charges
    • Accidental duplicate purchases
  • Refund requests must include proof of the issue

6.4 Dispute Resolution for Payments

If you dispute a charge:

Content Restrictions:

You represent and warrant that your content:
